Outline FontOutline Fonts are fonts that are described by mathematical equations that specify what each glyph should look like, and can be printed/displayed at any size without loss of quality and without suffering from jaggies.Outline Fonts may also include information that allow the character glyphs to be printed/displayed in a manner that is pleasing to the human eye at different sizes. For example, if a glyph includes serifs, and the serifs may not scale linearly with the rest of the glyph (typically at larger sizes, the serifs may form a smaller proportion of the overall glyph).
