How To Make Web Animations With A Photo BackgroundChapter 1: Selecting GraphicsThe first thing that I need to is pick out (or create) some graphics for my project.Let's start with the GIF animations. The main requirement here is that they have a transparent background, so when (later) placed over the photographic background, we will actually be able to see the photograph. Below are a couple of cartoon animations that I got from my Art Explosion 800,000 Clip Art package (it includes a relatively small number of web animations on one of the CDs). If you want a wide choice, I'd suggest you take a look at Clip Art Inc. or AnimationFactory.
Next I need a photographic background. Here's the one that I've decided to use. (You could prepare your own backgrounds with a digital camera or a scanner, or you may find suitable backgrounds in many clip art packages). 300X225 pixels
