HD Photo
The HD Photo format (previously known as "Windows Media Photo" or "WMPhoto") is a file format for storing photographic image bitmaps. The format was developed by Microsoft and supports both lossy and lossless compression. According to Microsoft, the format offers image quality comparable to JPEG 2000, but with much smaller file sizes and computational processing required.
