DXB File Format
DXB is binary version of the DXF format (it stores the same information in a format which takes less space). Both DXB and DXF are formats for exchanging vector data between programs, particularly CAD software, and are essentially a representation of the drawing information contained in an AutoCAD file. A technical discussion of this format can be found in Chapter 19 of Graphics File Formats by David C. Kay and John R. Levine. Chapter 19 is about DXF, but the differences between DXF and DXB are discussed in the section of this chapter entitled "Variants".
