CFP File Format
This is the native format of CoverFactory, and contains an editable eBook Cover. It is an unusual format in that it can include a 3D model, bitmaps for the sides of the object, and vectors drawn on top of the various sides. Bitmap data is compressed using a combination of Run-length Compression and proprietary compression methods. CoverFactory has been through a number of revisions, and the file format has changed over time. Consequently while older CFP files will always load into newer versions of CoverFactory, the reverse is not necessary true. Note: CFP files may be rendered into finished images in PNG, JPEG BMP or PCX format, using CoverFactory's Render To File... menu option.
