Lens FlareIf you take a photograph with a camera, an optical effect that you may see is a series of rings of light (and/or a star-shaped glare), caused by reflections and refractions inside the camera lens. This optical effect is known as "Lens Flare", and tends to occur most often photographing scenes containing very bright light sources.Computers (with the appropriate software) can simulate lens flare, and you'll also see the effect used programs which display 3D graphics (including, for example, many games).
