How To Take Photographs With Your Computer

Chapter 1: Taking The Photograph

There are three main ways that you can get a photographic image into your computer:
  1. You can take a picture with a digital camera attached to your computer.

  2. You can take a picture with a film camera, and then use Scanner to get the picture into your computer.

  3. For relatively flat items (for example; stamps and some jewelry), you may be able to place them directly on to the Scanner's surface.
I recommend that you experiment with each of these methods, as they can produce surprisingly different results.
