Lotus PIC
PIC is a simple vector format that was used to transfer business charts from Lotus 1-2-3 to the Lotus print graph program. Since version 3.0, by default, Lotus 1-2-3 has generated CGM files instead, but as this format is so simple, it has lived on in other PC software. The format allows lines, simple text, and filled areas. There is also minimal support for color (color fills are replaced by various cross-hatch patterns on monochrome devices). PIC files have a predefined geometry: All coordinates in the file range from (0,0) at the bottom left, to (3200,2311) at the top right, with the picture scaled to fit within this area. A technical discussion of this format can be found in Chapter 21 of Graphics File Formats by David C. Kay and John R. Levine.
